I’ve been immersed in the past 20 years of evolution in web design and coding advances, from user testing to Figma wireframes to style guide development to adding the final touches in CSS and ultimately driving the traffic with marketing efforts. Developed front-end design and code for the “Powered-By Cooking.com” platform that leveraged a common object-oriented code base with customized CSS themes for major food brands.

Digital Marketing

Oversaw design for an average of 1,500 e-mails per year, with a circulation of over 4M subscribers across many brands. Developed smart templates for an internal creative team and sourced additional assets to external agencies to create 10,000 unique display and social ad assets created annually, including video and html ads. Led the creative strategy for event booth designs for many Comic-Con, E3, Toy Fair, Licensing Expo and other events.

Experienced Team Leader

For over 15 years I have led close-knit teams of graphic designers, copywriters, photographers, motion graphics designers and front-end developers, working side-by-side with the team on all projects. I'm experienced with mentoring young designers as well as sharing inspiration and discoveries with senior designers. I focus on whole team involvement and pushing the cutting edge of innovation in all of our work. I balance hard work with clear goals and expecations, and creative jam sessions with a sprinkling of internet memes that make the perfect recipe for happy, productive and inspired designers.

Fun Facts About Me

  • I'm originally from Alabama, so I have a bit of a Southern accent, and "Y'all" is a word in my vocabulary.
  • I love dogs, and dog training has always been a part of my life. I even worked as a professional dog trainer to the stars when I first moved to LA!
  • I also have two huge and super fluffy Ragdoll cats, Big Mac and Bootsie, who are the cuddliest cats in the world, and also know some clicker training! Here's proof that cats can be trained!
